It’s tax season, and April 15th is going to be here before you know it! That is why I am highlighting TaxACT as one of my favorite free resources this week.
Two weeks ago, my father-in-law needed help filing his taxes, so I decided to give it a shot at doing his taxes online. After a little research I decided to use TaxAct.
I was a little nervous at first, but as I went through the site I realized that it was set up in a easy Q&A format. Before I knew it, I was hitting submit and e-filing his taxes! It really couldn’t be any simpler! This is a service that I will definitely be using again in the future.
TaxACT offers free Federal Return e-filing and the State Return e-filing was only $17.95. (Note: The state is free if you file it by mail!)
If you haven’t filed your taxes yet, I encourage you to give TaxAct a try!
