Quick Tip: Save by eating less meat.
Some of you meat lovers might have a problem with this one, but please hear me out…
Meat can be one of the most expensive things we buy at the grocery store. And sadly the cheaper the meat, the less healthy it can be. Now, I am not saying that we should all go vegetarian, but I have found by occasionally substituting beans for meat can lower your grocery bill a great deal.
My husband (a big meat eater) was skeptical at first, but to his surprise, he found himself liking some of the meatless dishes just as much as the ones with meat. Oh, and the savings doesn’t bother him at all either….
So, why not pick at least one night a week to eat a beans instead of meat? Meatless Mexican dishes are always our favorite!
