Stock-Up Price List by Saving at The Lake

Stock-Up Price List

Welcome to the Saving at the Lake Stock-Up Price list!

Here on Saving at the Lake, I have been asked this question multiple times over: “What is a good price for ______”? So, I finally decided to publish a list that would help others determine what a good price really is. Please keep in mind that the prices on this list are before the use of any coupons, so you do not need to coupon to score these deals. These prices are available certain times throughout the year at our local grocery stores.

How to read this list:

1. Stock-Up Price
This is the price to shoot for. Don’t feel bad if you purchase items at a higher price. This list gives you an idea on what prices to expect throughout the year. When an item reaches this price or close to you should probably purchase a few months supply to last you until the next sale.

2. Season
Use this as a guideline for when to expect what types of items to go on sale.

3. Sale Frequency
This is how often you can expect an item to go on sale during it’s “season”. This is an approximate estimation, but it should give you an idea of when to expect, for instance, BBQ Sauce to go on sale and how often during the summer (its peak season).

Remember that season and sale frequency are simply an estimation. Certain items might go on sale during the summer months, but every once in awhile you’ll can find a good deal in December, too.

Don’t forget to use the Saving at the Lake Comp List to help you find these prices!

Unfortunately, grocery prices are always going up, but I will try my best to keep this list updated as the prices change. If you have any questions concerning this list, please do not hesitate to contact me! (And, if you would like to see an item added to this list, please let me know!)
